A note on this: what you see above is a summary of the common cases per region (checked in June 2026), not Binance's official list. Which document types are accepted, whether you'll need proof of address, and whether a service works where you live can all shift with region and policy — go by the options your verification page actually shows once you're logged in. This site is an independent information guide, not affiliated with Binance, and does not solicit users in any restricted region.
Don't see your region?
The list only covers a few places people ask about most. For anywhere else, one rule of thumb usually holds: a passport is the most reliable all-purpose document, a local national ID depends on the region, and a driver's licence isn't accepted as your main verification document in most cases. For how to photograph a document and what to do if it's rejected, see the KYC document checklist and photo tips. For region-specific notes, read the Malaysia and Taiwan / Hong Kong write-ups.
